The Work and Society Research Network will:

• act as a readily accessible forum for the dissemination and discussion of contemporary radical, empirically based, research
• offer critical insight into the relationships between people, work and society
• create theory building opportunities
• explore methodological issues
• highlight the material realties of working within varieties of capitalism
• encourage research which, ultimately, has use value
